Rockhampton Spring Open Day: A Day to Remember

“It just looks stunning!” “There’s so much space.” “I love the walk-in pantry.” The brand new Living Gems Rockhampton display villas have been the talk of the town since the active over-50s resorts threw open the gates for a Spring Open Day earlier this month.

More than 250 people showed up to envisage in-person how their lifestyle could look like at the Parkhurst site. Three gorgeous, fully-furnished display homes were available to view on the appointed tours, showcasing the different floorplans and colour schemes, as well as the luxurious fixtures, appliances and finishes that come standard at Living Gems resorts.

When not exploring the villas, visitors were treated to live entertainment – brightly coloured hula dancers and a soulful acoustic singer – as they made their way leisurely around the event precinct to take a sneak peek at the Summer House and enjoy a bite to eat. A coffee van ensured everyone was well caffeinated, while others sat down with their curated goodie bags to enjoy a spot of light reading as they sampled the grazing platters. Even residents joined in the day’s festivities and brought their adorable pets along to meet their new neighbours!

Living Gems Rockhampton offers residents stunning facilities to stay active and a social hub to foster connections with friends and neighbours alike. The impressive line-up of facilities include a Country Club which includes a library, games room, craft room, gymnasium, craft room, cinema, a golf simulator, bar and lounge, and extensive social and fitness spaces. There’s even a Summer House with swim up bar, baja shelf and outdoor barbecue facilities, as well as a Ball Sports Precinct, Lifestyle Pavilion and pickleball courts.

But be quick, Stage One offers prime positioning close to the heart of the resort. These beautiful villas won’t last long! For more information, visit LivingGems.com.au
